CoinFi is a fast-moving cryptocurrency media and software startup looking for a motivated, driven, proactive and professional Administrative Assistant to join a fast-moving, well-funded startup that provides trading intelligence for the cryptocurrency markets.

This is a chance for an energetic, well-organized person with exceptional written/verbal communication skills to help support an interesting project in an entrepreneurial environment with a team of high performers.

You’ll be deeply involved in the inner workings of a startup in an exciting new space. It’s a chance to be on the cutting edge of tech - the things you do day to day will have a real impact on a fast growing business.

Our Story

When CoinFi cofounder Tim quit his job as a hedge fund trader to trade cryptocurrency full-time, he realized there was a lack of institutional calibre research and trading tools like he was accustomed to on Wall Street.

Tim, Han, and Nate realized there was a big gap in the market that we could solve with a new type of crypto market intelligence platform.

We quickly got to work and in Aug 2017 launched a token sale. This culminated in Jan 2018 when we raised $15M USD to grow our cryptocurrency media and software startup. Thanks to the token sale, we already have a subscriber list of 80,000+ readers and a telegram community of 23,000+ crypto investors.

While it’s still early, we’re on our way to becoming the leading provider of cryptocurrency market analysis and trading intelligence for the cryptocurrency markets.

What’s it like working with us?

We are a fast moving startup, not a draconian hedge fund where you are expected to sit at the desk for 12 hours a day. We have capital and a big mission, we’re looking for top performers to join us as we step on the gas and get things done quickly.

We believe cryptocurrencies is like equities in the 90’s at the start of a multi-year bull run, with many money making trading strategies due to market inefficiencies. There is a huge opportunity for early movers to capture market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support
  • Monitoring and recording expenditures for bookkeeping purposes
  • Coordinating with 3rd party vendors
  • Organizing & filtering company leadership emails
  • Proofreading, crafting emails and communications on behalf of company leadership
  • Setting up bank accounts
  • Filing of documents
  • Managing executive team's calendar and organizing travel arrangements
  • Assist with online research tasks
  • Assisting with visa application paperowrk
  • Corporate secretarial work
  • Arrange meetings, appointments and setup calendar and reminders
  • Act as point of contact between executive team and internal/external clients
  • Take dictation and minutes and accurately enter data
  • Receive calls, take messages, and route correspondence
  • Handling personal tasks as required




    Requirements:

    • Native level English speaking & writing.
    • Fluent Cantonse
    • Exceptional written communication - being able to quickly craft a perfectly worded email is a must, complete with immaculate spelling and grammar.
    • Extremely organized and systematic. Your inbox is impeccably clean.
    • Proactive, confident, works well under pressure.
    • Don’t know how to do it? You’ll work it out and come back with a solution. Google ninja - if the info is out there, you’ll find it!
    • Comfortable with Google Drive/Docs/Sheets.
    • Self starter who knows how to hustle and get things done.
    • Ability to learn to use new Web-based tools as appropriate (e.g. Wordpress, Asana, Calendly etc…)
    • Basic familiarity with cryptocurrency & finance & corporate secretarial work is a plus!
